Just want to remind everyone who loves an aging relative that during the Summer months it’s very important to offer and encourage more fluid intake. Seniors have about 15% less body water than in their younger years so they dehydrate much more quickly.
Dehydration can lead to increased confusion, headaches, irritability, and sluggishness. Naturally flavored waters are a great choice. Put citrus slices in a half gallon of water and let sit overnight. Remove the slices and encourage drinking throughout the day.
